At the Hydraulic Safety Authority of Canada Inc. we offer 2 levels of training. This training is specifically designed to reach every level of exposure in your facility. Determining the level of training for your facility is crucial so at HSAC we take our service one step further and provide an evaluation which is performed by our Hydraulic Safety Specialist. This will ensure your company receives the appropriate level of training to demonstrate the required due diligence for your all ready existing health & safety program.

EXPOSURE LEVEL

The safety status of hydraulic equipment and components are always changing. What is safe today may not be safe tomorrow. Most occupations are exposed to hydraulics at many different levels. The exposure level topics will establish an awareness of hydraulic hazards in the workplace. Special attention is given to the most common misconceptions, including environmental health.

HIGH RISK MAINTENANCE LEVEL

Maintenance personnel are engaged in procedures that expose them to the risk of injury and death. The maintenance level consists of 12 topics and takes an in-depth comprehensive look at identifying hydraulic hazards encountered beyond the engineered safeguarding. An emphasis is put on the implementation of structured procedures and energy mitigation. This program incorporates videos of actual procedures that went wrong and each participant will gain substantial knowledge through group interpretation and discussion. This level of training provides important information about staying alive.

To book an evaluation or to register in our training program please call (416) 363-7272 or e-mail info@hsac.ca. If your facility is not equipped for on-site training, we will provide a location to conduct the training.
